Several years ago reflexology and other complementary therapy helped me to manage a busy life and profession and a health condition. I experienced the feeling of gaining some influence back over my life and my mind and body - when it felt it had spun out of my control. It lifted my spirits and my self esteem, gave me a sense of peace and perspective on my life, and I knew I wanted to support others to access this feeling of well being. From a background in social care, education and workplace training and development, I have always worked with and to support others.

I am a Member of the Association of Reflexologists and I am committed to my own continued professional development and attend local AOR group meetings and training days, as well as specialised courses elsewhere.


Since 2006 I have volunteered as a complementary therapist at St Michaels Hospice in Harrogate, where I have supported many people living with life limiting illnesses.
